What I’m reminiscing about…
Taking our girlie to college last week. It’s her sophomore year and she’s living in a house with 5 other girls!!
So hard to leave her, but confident that she will do GREAT and have so much fun!!
What I’m loving…
Check out her cute little house!! It was built in 1921, and the woodwork inside is awesome!!
What I’ve been up to…
I’m so excited to announce that I wrote a book that helps overwhelmed Moms at Christmas time! If you need a proven plan to SIMPLIFY CHRISTMAS, you can check it out HERE!!
What I’m dreading…
Being outside.
The mosquitos have been so bad around here!!! Are they bad where you are??
What I’m working on…
Hubby and I have been volunteering with an organization that helps senior citizens that need to be driven to appointments and grocery shopping. We are having a BLAST!!
What I’m excited about…
Looking forward to a September getaway with the doggies!!
What I’m watching/reading…
I’m watching these beautiful flowers bloom & bloom!! The big pink flowers are bigger than my hand! Unbelievable!

What I’m doing this weekend…
We’re having a workday this weekend at our son and daughter-in-law’s house! My job will be to hold the baby and entertain all of the toddlers while the families help dig bush stumps. I think I got the best end of the deal!!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
A little lake getaway
What else is new?
Nothing but an empty nest here. Adjusting to that.
Hope your daughter has a good yer and her house is so cute! Your flowers look beautiful and enjoy that baby time.
Lovely post, my dear! I always enjoy reading what is on the menu. You are a good cook, for sure. Your flowers are beautiful. Hubby is the best yard man and gardener…..I chuckled at your mosquito joke….They certainly have been awful..Hope it gets better soon since it has gotten cooler. Best of luck and lots of love to your daughter and our sweet grand daughter on her college adventure and living in a home and not a dorm. Thanks for posting, Jill. Always enjoy your news and photos.
