Hello, Friday…I’m ready for the weekend!!!! You too??
Here’s what’s been goin’ on ’round here!! See these 2 lovelies? They are now officially home owners! Son #1 showed up at our house after the closing, needing those tools that Grandpa gave him- I guess they were installing smoke detectors- yeah, those are pretty important to have in a house. Excited that they’ll be about 1/2 hour from us- not 4 hours like we did to our parents.
They look happy, don’t they??
Sweet Pea has had a CT scan, blood work and shots this week, but a frappacino erases all bad medical memories, right??
Let’s hope so!! Here’s a beautiful shot of the stress fracture in her shin.
The house construction has come to an abrupt halt due to the cold weather and the carpenters not wanting to work in an unbearable wind chill! I guess I don’t blame them!
Even though there’s not much to see on the outside of the house, we are busy making selections for the inside. We concentrated on flooring, cabinetry and tile this week. I took lots of pictures in our current home and brought it to the meetings- our plan is to just copy, almost exactly what we have now!! Easy right??
Here are some of the pictures I took with us!
and because I felt like I wanted to share just one more picture, here’s a picture of Sweet Pea’s cold lunch this week, chosen and packed by her!! I think she did a great job, but where are the chips?? Glad she remembered the thin mint girl scout cookies!!
Just head’s up, my blogging may be a little sporadic in the next few months with all of the meetings and huge decisions like choosing toilets, m’kay?? Thanks for taking the time to catch up with me!! I enjoy sharing life with YOU!!

Thanks for another Week In Review. Love that the bride and groom are now home owners. Looking forward to Moving-in day. Hope the weather cooperates. I know that they are excited.
Poor “Pea”. So many Dr. appts. But it is nice to be rewarded with a treat. She is a good sport about going to the Dr.
Good luck on the house building project. And have fun picking out all of the needed things. Hope you can find what you like and are used to. Warm weather is starting to arrive (we hope) and soon the builders will have that house up unbelievably quick. It will go fast, once the weather improves and you have all of your “things” selected.
Good selection on the lunch, “Pea”!
Thanks again. See ya later…..
Hope your daughter is feeling better…dealing with a stress fracture also but it happens to be my son who is going to school in Eau Claire. Lots of phone calls about network providers. Hate dealing with insurance but so necessary. Congrats to your son and daughter in-law. Those thin mints are the best but I kept strong this year and did not purchase…..think I made a mistake.
