Last weekend the boys were home from college and they all needed haircuts. My oldest decided he wanted to learn how to “buzz” his brothers hair, so this was his first swipe…scary, huh? He called it the “Dr. Phil” haircut.
This girl did some dog sitting…well, not literally sitting on dogs, but she had fun throwing the frisbee for them and she watched them play! The extra cash was nice too! Thanks, Mrs. G!
This is what happens at church when you arrive early…craziness ensues!
Speaking of church, our Youth Group had a big night- over 200 students attending, and 10 student baptisms- it was amazing! As for me, my youth group wasn’t anything like this! I felt like I was at a rock concert- LOUD music, bright lights and praising our great God!!
On the weekend Sweet Pea and I ran some errands to get more dog and chinchilla food and visited the office supply store. She’s always loves to see her furry friends at Petco. Especially these cuties! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ALMOST brought one of these ferrets home with me!
Because we were out and about, we NEEDED to stop at Panera and have a treat! Sweet Pea got her usual smoothie and I found this Springy looking cookie to nibble on- I have such a sweet tooth!
I had an opportunity to make another round of freezer meals this week. This time it was using “Wild tree” products. My friend Kathy was the hostess and oh boy did she have a beautiful set up for us. Here was the table where we prepared the food. So nice, clean and organized.
Here are the delicious snacks that we munched on! Look at that fruit pizza…it was a work of art! (It was my favorite!!) Again, that darn sweet tooth!!
After about an hour, we had put together 6 meals and the table didn’t look so neat and organized anymore. Sorry Kath! Having 6 more meals in the freezer is a great thing though!
On Thursday morning I drove my Dad to his colonoscopy appointment. All went perfectly, but he was HUNGRY when he got home! My Mom and I fixed him a big ol’ breakfast of eggs, ham and a biscuit.
I say HOORAY for a good report and yay for a good breakfast! Thanks for visiting Jill on the Hill!! If you want to see last week’s Week in Review, click HERE.
I really enjoyed your weekly photos. Thanks so much for sharing.
