Hello and welcome to my week in review!!
Pitch and Chuck visited my house this week as I worked on my pantry. Here are my before, during and after pics! Oh my goodness, I can actually SEE what I have now!
Here’s what I’ve learned from de-cluttering my pantry.
- I can buy “healthy” cereal, and my kids still won’t eat it. Notice the box of Crispix and Rice Krispies-both full and unopened. Well. I guess I’ll have to make Rice Krispie treats!
- The kids won’t eat oatmeal for breakfast either. Even if I buy wonderfully flavored ones like Cinnabon or apples and cinnamon. Note to self: Quit buying oatmeal & Cream of Wheat!
- We get WAAAAAY to many sweets at Christmas time. Truffles, hard candies, jelly beans (my fav) peppermint puffs, M & Ms and the candy in THIS post. And to our dentist…You’re welcome!
In other earth shaking news, I went through the car wash… I believe the fruity flavored foam is a pure work of art!
Doesn’t take much to thrill this country girl.
I drove by our lot the other day and noticed that they had put up this fencing. A couple more weeks and the digging commences!
Someone in our family has discovered “The Gilmore Girls” on Netflix and is a teenie bit obsessed.
She had her cuddle buddy at her feet…
It was a beautifully, plain and average week- that’s a good week indeed!
In case you don’t already know..Pitch and Chuck scare me to death. I shy away from both. But you already knew that! =) I love the care wash pic. So colorful and I’ll bet it smells good, too. Love the picture of Sweetpea and her cuddle buddy. ( Now looking at the picture of Sweetpea on the couch, look over HER right ear.) Does that look like a dog head (cartoonish) or not. Maybe a dog’s skull? I have never noticed that before. It’s like a Rorshach test for me….=)
Average uneventful weeks are always good weeks for me. My daughter also discovered Gilmore girls last summer and was hooked. Your pictures of organizing the cabinets make me fell guilty because mine are pretty scary….I will have to work up some courage before I tackle that task.
