I have to admit, I’m honestly digging…digging hard to find pics of my fabulous 5 this week! It’s been one of those weeks! Yes, I can come up with a million things to be thankful for, I just don’t have any recent pics that you would want to see!
Let me tell you a little about my week. Here are my “fabulous five!”
~ONE~
A safe trip to Iowa (with no snow to drive in!) Getting to see and HUG Grandma and Grandpa! Only part of our crew was able to go because of this little illness called Influenza. Son #3 and I stayed home. Two others came down with the flu (cough, fever, aches) while on the trip. Finally, Hubby was stricken and is currently asleep in the recliner as I type. Another positive- I had it and I was only down for 12 hours. My body, along with getting the flu shot, was able to KICK THAT VIRUS TO THE CURB!
~TWO~
This cutie!! She didn’t even mind wearing her pink camouflage coat! It was 5 degrees that morning!!
~THREE~
No cavities for Sweet Pea at her dental appointment!!
~FOUR~
Our church renovation is looking good!! 3,800 worshipers attended our 6 Christmas services and we are getting ready to GROW even more!
~FIVE~
Hubby and I celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary on December 29th! Feel free to laugh at my 1980’s permed mega-hair and the fact that hubby HAD hair! These were our engagement pictures!
Here’s a more recent, more casual one…. So thankful for every day with this guy- He’s a keeper!!
Happy New Year to you ALL!! Next week I will be sharing my favorite posts of 2014! See you next week!

Glad that some of the family got to go to see Grandma and Grandpa. So sorry some of you were ill. The girl with the camouflage coat is not only cute, but now she is warm Quite a cold spell……Congrats to Sweet Pea on no cavities. That is wonderful! The church is looking good. Can’t wait to see what it is like when it is finished. Congratulations to you and your hubby! You are both special…..Hope EVERYONE gets better soon.
