It has just dawned on me that it’s only one week until Christmas and I have been a slacker. I guess I could call myself a slacker, but maybe, just maybe, this is the calm before the storm. Here’s what I’ve been up to….and I think this will be an Awesome vs. Awkward Edition! Let’s GO!
~AWESOME~
Hubby wrote the Christmas letter, I stuffed the envelopes and off into the world they went!! Hooray!
I found these festive towels at Target to add some bright and cheery color to my kitchen!

After having this snowdude ^ stare at me all week, I’ve decided that he’s actually a little creepy!! What is he doing?? Whistling?
~AWESOME~
Son #3 had a terrific basketball game last week, scoring 14 points

This week at practice, he had a little injury that required him to sport these babies at the dr. office…..paper shorts!!! Can you believe he didn’t let me snap a photo of him in these??!! Btw, he’s fine!!
~AWESOME~
A beautiful night of relaxation, Christmas lights on, festive and cozy atmosphere, watching a Christmas movie…
~AWKWARD~
Having to use ALL of these remotes to actually PLAY the movie! Who can relate???
~AWESOME~
Resurrecting my super awesome bread making skills, knowing that my family would be SO impressed with fresh bread! It was going to go great with my beef stew recipe!!
~AWKWARD~
The bread was done an hour and a half AFTER dinner and I baked the paddle of the machine right inside the bread! OOOOPS!
~AWESOME~
One of my very favorite and easy dinners! Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, Velveeta Mac n cheese and baked asparagus!
~AWKWARD~
THIS GIRL!! Yes, those are Tic Tac candies! I think she’s been to too many of her brother’s basketball games!
Thanks for stopping by to read about our crazy week! Next Tuesday I’ll be sharing my beef stew recipe, so I catch up with you then!! XOXO!

Enjoyed your card and letter. BTW..for some reason, you like us so much that we received two. We have an extra, in case you need just one more…. And yes, Snowdude is whistling. I think I hear him whistling “Here Comes Susie Snowflake”. Remember that oldie , but goodie? #3 son is so studious and (handsome)! And knows how to shoot that ball! I love the blue paper shorts, too, Very attractive. I only get to wear the cloth gown, aka the “I SEE YOU” gown…Love the fireplace and mantle. Beautiful. We don’t wrestle with remotes…Just two, not three. So happy that your bread turned out well. Glad that you found the paddle. (Hide and Seek is always a fun game. Dinner looks delicious. And Sweet Pea looks like that lady from the movie….the name escapes me. I’m sure you know who I am thinking about. Thanks for letting me share your week. It was fun!
