It’s August, can you believe it?? Summer here in Wisconsin seems to have only showed up for a few days. I think we’ve only had 1 day that’s been over 90 degrees- that’s rare and I LOVE IT!
This girl had a dog sitting job for the weekend. She played frisbee a million times and got plenty of doggie kisses. She got paid and the bonus for me was that my friend brought me back a souvenir…Peanut butter spread from Amish Country.
People, it’s like liquid peanut butter fudge….it’s great on toast, banana bread or even by the spoonful (not that I would actually eat it that way.)
Bella worked at the nursing home this week and is always happy to see the residents and clean up any crumbs from breakfast off the floor! She’s helpful like that!
She’s been having pain in her hips and back so I decided to treat her with a canine massage. She wasn’t quite sure how to react to the massage techniques, but I could tell she liked it. The massage therapist even taught me the basic massage techniques so I can practice on her anytime I want! I love that Bella Roo with all of my heart!!
With all that massaging going on, it kicked up so much hair, it nearly clogged the vacuum!!
Earlier in the week I had dinner all planned out and almost ready to go one night and hubby surprised me and said “Let’s go out for dinner!”
Hello? I hopped in that car faster than a lightning bolt- the baked sandwiches could wait for another day!
Taking a nice walk through our new subdivision was a great idea until the storm clouds moved in. We made it back to the car before it started pouring. As you can see, some walked and some rolled through.
Sweet Pea has been having daily headaches for the last 6 months or so. I think we’ve figured out part of the problem…she needed these. Her new glasses will be ready to wear in about a week!
Look closely and you will see…..you will see our future! We had new house plans drawn up and we are THRILLED! Looking to possibly build next Spring! Anybody want to buy our house???
