Here we are, just a few days from Thanksgiving… are you ready?? I’m feeling OK about it since I will have 3 others to help me get ready!
I am hosting Thanksgiving this year and I’m expecting 11 around my table! My parents contributed the 18 pound bird and he’s been sitting in my basement fridge since Saturday. Gotta make sure he’s fully thawed. An 18 pounds bird will feed so many! What on earth am I going to do with the leftover turkey?? Well, I’m HAPPY to have leftovers! So many recipes that call for turkey- here are just a few…
Turkey Quesadillas
Hot turkey sandwiches
I’ve recently discovered a new recipe and it’s pretty Weight Watcher friendly and it’s comfort food for sure!!
This is so easy to throw together! Hey, you might even have some gravy and mashed potatoes leftover too!!
It’s really not a recipe, it’s just a dump in as much as you want of everything!! Here’s what you’ll need…
Gravy, Corn, Mashed potatoes and Chicken/Turkey. Of course you can make your own potatoes or gravy, but this night I made it quick and easy, and even used a rotisserie chicken from the store.
So, as far as weight watchers, if you use white meat- it is free and so is the corn. Points are counted for the potatoes and gravy and you can totally control the portions on that!! Hope you give it a try!!
Let me know how YOU will use your leftover turkey…
