It’s time once again for Tuesday Talk where Erika and Ashley have a link up to talk about all sorts of fun things!!
In August, I talked about short hair and wearing hats
In September, we had a battle of the bacon
In October, I talked about a life GAME CHANGER
In November, I asked how YOU use your turkey leftovers
Well, THIS MONTH I’m talking about CHRISTMAS CARDS!! Is it me or do you think Christmas Cards are becoming a thing of the past?? For years, we’ve been sending a Christmas letter and picture to friends and family. Over the last five years or so I’ve noticed a huge drop in the amount of cards we get each year- which I think is sad!!
I chatted with some girlfriends about this subject and I think we’ve come up with a few reasons why Christmas cards are on the decline.
- It takes time to write a letter, take a photo, make copies of the photo, address the cards and get them in the mail. Some don’t have the time!
- It’s expensive! Stamps are going up to 50 cents a piece in January!!
- We share on social media so much that there’s no need to update friends on what’s going on
This year, we ARE sending cards, but it’s only a family photo this time. My hubby is known for his witty and informative Christmas letter every year, and I’m sad that we aren’t sending the letter out, but I totally get it!
Here are some Christmas photos from years past!
and my VERY FAVORITE…..Because this is really how pictures go….
Do you see ME in the picture?? I’m UNDER THE BLUE BLANKET holding the baby!! Bwa HA HA HA!!!
Are YOU sending out Christmas Cards this year???
Oh, my! That is priceless!!!!! I think that this is the first I have heard of this….The blanket pic…Bwa Ha Ha!
I think the photo session was just too long!!!
