Organizing a dorm room- guys version

I’m understanding that it’s much easier to move a guy into a dorm than a girl. I guess I will find out in a few years! With this being my third attempt at dorm organization, the process went pretty smoothly!!

So, you might ask…..where is everything??? Well, here is a peek into how his room was unpacked. I am quite certain that it hasn’t remained this way because, ya know, life happens. It sure made me feel good to see it this way before I left though!!

The essentials for the dorm, in my opinion are to have 3 bins at the top of the closet, a 3 drawer Rubbermaid storage cart and to pack clothing on hangers, fold in half and pack in the rolling duffle.

Even though he is living pretty minimalistically, I think he does need to add in a few personal items to make this room his own!! I’m sure he has by now!!

P.S. I drove down and had dinner with him one night last week and the room looked completely different- bunks were stacked on top of the desk and bookshelves, tv was set up and the room seemed cozier….but the organization was still working.
