Hello, Hello!! It’s the second Wednesday of the month…you know what that means! It’s another edition of “Let’s Look” by Shay and Erika.
In January we looked at The Coziest Spot in Your House
In February we looked at Our Favorite Reads
In March we looked at The People in Our Family
This month, I’m showing you my Pantry!! I’m SO THANKFUL that they chose this area to show because it made me get off my booty and re-organize the MESS!! And a MESS it was! I even brought my hubby into the fun by having him help me!! (We called it a “date.”) Ha!
We chose a great weekend to take on the project because, well…..THIS!
Let’s start with my small pantry that’s in our kitchen.
This pantry holds our daily necessities. It’s small, but perfect for our kitchen! My goal for this pantry is to keep only what I need for dinners that week, so it should start to look empty as we approach grocery day!!
As you can see we’re pretty well stocked!
You’ll notice that I didn’t do a before picture- I forgot. I was overwhelmed with all of the crumbs, twist ties and food that were in the corners of the drawers. EW! Why do I let it get that way?? In a perfect world it would stay like this all of the time! =)
And then came the SCARY Pantry!!
This is the BIG pantry that is just around the corner from the kitchen! It has a magical pocket door so I can just shut it if I need to!!
Whoop, there it is!!
The Before…
One of my pet peeves is to have things on the floor under the bottom shelf! I like to be able to vacuum under there easily and get all of the dust bunnies that have settled there!
During
And now for the FINAL AFTER PICS!!
The left side…
The right side…
Yes, you’re seeing it right! There’s our dog’s squeaky ball on the floor in the bottom of the pantry!! Ha!!
Well, that’s it for this month! Whew…this was a tough one, but it feels good to have it done! We also didn’t find any rotting potatoes like we did last time we cleaned it out! Oh, the smell!!!
Have a good week!!
Here’s what’s next in the Let’s Look Series!!
I’m so jealous of all of your storage space- it’s amazing!!
It’s a huge blessing for us! I was thinking of getting an air fryer- don’t know if I want to store 1 more appliance!! LOL!
It looks marvelous! Please don’t look at mine. That is, unless I take a rare notion to do a good pantry cleaning. I am impressed with all of your space. Proud of you, my dear.
Ha, ha! Anytime…I will help! (If lunch is in the mix) =)
