Hi!! and welcome back!! Shay and Erika started a new link up last month called Let’s Look!! I have a blast reading their posts, so I decided to join in with them today to share “Your favorite reads!” You can see last month’s post HERE. (See the coziest spot in my house.)
I’ve spoken before on the fact that I’m a “wanna be” reader, but I tend to fall asleep after about a page and a half! My Mom tells me that my book isn’t that good then!! Ha!
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite books…I’m a Non-fiction, always try to better myself kind of book reader, so you will see that this list reflects that!! Here we go!
This is a great book that encourages you to be your authentic self and emphasizes that it’s ok not to have it all together. Who wouldn’t love that message?? Cant wait for her next book, “Girl, stop apologizing” that comes out on March 12th!
Push yourself to get motivated and focused to do anything with this book! Love the science behind the rule!!
Simplify: Ten practices to unclutter your soul.
When we spend our lives busy with the things don’t matter, we miss out on the things that really do matter! Learn to prioritize and simplify your life!
If you think that you are here on this earth as a mistake…you are wrong. God has created you for a purpose, and it starts by connecting with the one who created you!
I love this organizing book because Lisa describes people going thru 4 life stages. Each phase of life brings unique organizational challenges and emotional clutter to tackle, and Lisa helps you understand and gives you the boost to get organized.
Great stories of loving all kinds of people, all of the time!
Ever wanted to impart your life’s wisdom when you have only months to live? Randy Pausch did just that.
Learn how your spouse, kids, friends are wired and learn what speaks love to them!
Another great organizing book from a Mom who lives in an apartment in New York. She has a room by room guide filled with secrets of streamlining and de-cluttering your home. Don’t read this book right before bed, because you’ll want to get up and start right away!!
Mama Joyce comes through again with another great book. She puts us back on track with guidelines from biblical promises for living a life that embodies love, happiness, joy, peace, and more.
The main premise of this book is the idea that slow and steady wins the race. It is very helpful the way Darren reminds us that even ridiculously small changes can, if applied CONSISTENTLY, produce huge effects over time.
Here’s a preview of Let’s Look upcoming topics!!

I loved The Purpose Driven Life. A few years after it was published, our church walked through that 40 day study and it was amazing the things that God did through our church! Happy Wednesday!
Hi Laura! That’s awesome!! I know it’s an older book, but I think it’s relevant any time!! Thanks for stopping by!!!
