Loving this Fall weather here in Wisconsin- the mosquito outbreak, not so much!! Haha!! I heard one of my friends say, “it’s bad when you have to wear bug spray in your own house!”
So, I haven’t done one of these Hour by Hour posts for a while! I think the last one was way back in April. So, are you wondering what a stay at home Mom does when all her kids are grown up or at school?? Well, I’m fascinated to see how others spend their time during the day, so I thought I would share mine!!
On this morning, I jumped out of bed at 6:00 am and hopped in the shower!
I like to get up in the morning and get my machines working for me, so I started a load of WHITES!
So, are you a fashion ruler breaker like I am by wearing white after Labor Day?? Let me know in the comments with a #REBEL if you are!!
My daughter has a first hour study hall so she doesn’t have to be at school until 8:00 am!! I said goodbye to her…Honey was sad to see her go!
Around 8:00-ish I sat down for breakfast. This is one of my favorite breakfasts! English Muffin with Whipped peanut butter and a half banana. Not too bad on the weight watcher points either!
Caught up on emails, read my online devotional and worked on my Thirty-One business for a bit.
9:00 am, I had a leader meeting at my church that went until 11:00. Most of the meeting was learning a sort of dance that we will be performing on the first day of our Mother’s of Influence event! Oh boy, I’m glad they kept the movements simple- I’m no dancer!!
Came home to STARVING dogs!! They gulped their lunch right down!!
Honey and I headed to an assisted living center, and Miss Minnie enjoyed some peanut butter in her kong!
11:40, We greeted the residents as they came to lunch. Honey makes lots of people SMILE!!
Noon-ish, had my lunch- chicken taco salad with a side of Pop Chips!!
1:00- 3:00-ish Relax and Nap time. This day I had a 20 minute power nap and then watched a few DVR’ed shows. Isn’t it interesting how I revert back to my schedule when I had kids at home? Nap time for them was always 1:00-3:00. Honey STILL likes to snooze in her 5 pound sister’s dog bed!
I heard some commotion in the afternoon and discovered that construction has started in the lot next door to us. I’ll have to let them know that we nap at 1:00 so they can shut things down!! Ha!
I prepped some ground turkey and made it into TACOS!! Just look at that yummy salsa in the back ground!!
Our daughter’s high school has a new auditorium and this was dedication night so she joined the chamber choir and along with the jazz band entertained the crowd while admiring the beautiful new addition to the school! We were there from about 7:00-9:00…
It was such a fun night to see friends, hear good music, tour all the new spaces and CELEBRATE the new addition to the school!
Hun-Bun was clearly ready for bed….it was such a tough and busy day for her!!
Hope you enjoyed my day- Hour by Hour!!
Linking up with This is how we roll!
I loved it all. The back of your church is beautiful. So many good food pics and the young lady that sings….is such a sweet and pretty young lady! Love the doggie pictures, too. It was all wonderful…Love your sense of humor, too! <3 you!
Thanks, Mom! I always appreciate your comments!! =)
