Years ago I subscribed to a meal plan called 5 dinners one hour. The gist is that you get 5 dinner meal plans for the week and the grocery list is already generated for you. You shop, come home and prepare all of the dinner meals for the week in about an hour. Great concept, hey? Because I’m home during the day, there’s no need for me to prepare things ahead. I just throw it together a few minutes before I bake it. I’ve found the recipes to be easy and for the most part, yummy! This recipe is one of the meals!
Here’s what you’ll need: Whipped Cream Cheese, sliced deli ham and asparagus (the thinner the asparagus the better!)
To prepare, I cut the tough ends off of the asparagus, lay down some parchment paper in a cookie sheet and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
This recipe is so easy that you really don’t even need a recipe!!
Here’s what you do: Schmear (yes, it’s a technical term) the whipped cream cheese on a slice of deli ham. (Use as much or little as you want) Place asparagus on ham, then roll it up and place on parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
After baking for 20-ish minutes, it should look like this! The cream cheese melts and gets to that delicious gooey stage! If you have a big family you might want to double the recipe- just sayin’!
My family gave this recipe a BIG thumbs up, and HEY, they are eating something green- it’s a miracle!
Here’s another meal that came from this membership website that we LOVED!
