Luckily, everyone in my family likes to read. Some more than others, but they usually have a book on their bedside table to read before they drift into slumber land. The only problem I have with reading at bedtime is that I usually only get through a couple of pages before the book starts hitting me in the face!! Needless to say, I don’t read books very fast at the 2 page a day pace. I thought you might like to see what our family is currently reading….What books are YOU reading??
Since I find it hard to find time to read (except before bed and then I fall asleep!), I am currently listening to an audiobook of “Cutting For Stone.”
The narrator is fantastic! I am able to listen while I cook, fold laundry, clean, etc. and it makes those jobs go a lot faster!
Great Idea…I guess I think of audio books to be used only in the car. I’ll do anything to make chores go faster!!
Just finished Last Call, a history of Prohibition. Fascinating!
Thanks, Deanna…I bet there are some great stories in there!!
I love to read and received a Kindle a couple of years ago that feeds my addiction! I would highly suggest reading The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingbird. My 12 year old suggested I read them with her and it was a great idea because we would discuss the books and I actually got to talk to her! LOL!
Angie….we own all of those books too!! They are GREAT…and to read them WITH your daughter and discuss = Priceless!!
