As we packed up all of the Christmas decor, I felt sad packing away the Christmas CDs and Christmas movies. They bring such good memories for me. Before they were hauled down to the basement, I picked a few of my favorite Christmas movies to share with you.
Four Christmases: Certainly a movie for grown ups, but very funny!! Rated PG-13
Nativity Story: The true meaning of Christmas ….if you need a good cry, this is a good one!! Rated PG
Home Alone: I don’t typically think of this one as a Christmas movie, but it takes place at Christmas time, and networks show it the day after Thanksgiving, so I’m counting it! If you like slap stick humor, this is a must see!! Rated PG
Christmas Vacation: Again, not a movie for the young ones, but full of classic comedic moments. Rated PG-13
Elf: My absolute favorite Christmas movie!! We even had an “Elf inspired” evening, featuring pasta served with jelly beans, pop tarts and syrup! I especially love the music played in the movie, so the soundtrack CD is awesome too!! Rated PG
Well, that’s it for this year! I bought two more movies to watch next year….Holiday Inn and White Christmas, I’ve heard good things about them too!!
What’s your favorite Christmas Movie?? Leave me a comment and let me know…I’m always looking for new movies to watch!!
A Christmas Story!
You’ll shoot your eye out!!!
