It’s that time of year, folks! Those cold and flu germs are everywhere and sometimes they sneak into our bodies and can wreak all kinds of havoc. After you’re sick, to keep from re-infecting yourself or spreading to others, it’s always a good idea to disinfect your tooth brush.
Here are 4 ways to disinfect your tooth brush!
- soak in hydrogen peroxide for 15-30 minutes
- boil tooth brush for 3 minutes
- put in silverware compartment of dishwasher and run the cycle
- soak in antibacterial mouthwash for 3 minutes
Some dentists recommend getting a new toothbrush every 3 months or even sooner if the bristles are frayed. So, it might just be easier to throw the old one out and get a new one anyway after being sick!!
Praying that this time of year finds you healthy & happy!!!
Good tips..Thanks a bunch!
