Happy, Happy, What’s up, Wednesday!!!
Now, if you’re new to WUW, on the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and Shay host this little linky party where we share what’s going on with us right now. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
It’s so fun to share AND read other’s posts, too, so if you blog, please link up!! Now, on with the show!!
What we’re eating this week…
What I’m reminiscing about…
Facebook gave me a little flash back of sorts to the year 2011. This is a picture of our daughter 10 years ago, playing softball. Oh the fun we had at the ball games with our kids! Dragging lawn chairs out of the car, my hubby spitting sunflower seeds, (ick) the snack shack, chatting with friends at the ballpark, dinners made by 3:30 so everyone could have it before the games. While going through it, it felt like a nightmare, but looking back, I realize it was such a great time!!
What I’m loving…
This new little guy in our family!! Grandbaby #4!!
What we’ve been up to…
We had a bridal shower here at our house a few weeks ago. It was so much fun!! We’re in full wedding mode right now! Can you believe that I made the cupcake dress?? It was so much fun!
And….they both graduated from college, too!!
What I’m dreading…
Mosquitos!! So stinking annoying!
What I’m working on…
I’m working on a couple of things right now. As a Life Coach, I’m creating a “Simplifying Christmas” E-book, and also a webinar on “Throwing Away your To Do list & Still Getting it all done.”
How fun are those?? I’m totally geeked up, y’all!!!
What I’m excited about…
It may sound kind of silly, but I love that we can sit on our patio or driveway with our neighbors at night and chat! It’s the best!!
What I’m watching/reading…
We are watching re-runs of Survivor on Amazon Prime! Right now, it’s season 18 – Nicaragua!!
What I’m listening to…
I always have my “Sang on Sunday” playlist (Spotify) ready to go when I get ready in the morning! It’s like having my own little worship session going every day!
What I’m wearing…
I’ve been carrying around my latest favorites from Thirty-One Gifts! The Modern Tote in Dainty Speckles & the All About the Benjamin’s wallet in black with yellow personalization. You can find them HERE.
What I’m doing this weekend…
Helping move my son’s fiance move into the apartment they have rented after they’re married. Also, a little family BBQ later in the weekend. WOO HOO!!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Their wedding!!!!
What else is new?
Our daughter is home from her first year at college! What a year it was!! She did end up getting Covid-19 the day before she came home, SO, she spent some time at our cottage quarantining before she came home!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read this little blog of mine!! Hope you have a great rest of the week!!
That cupcake dress is impressive! Congratulations to the happy couple! It’s certainly engagement/wedding season right now!
It’s so exciting!! I actually had a blast making the cake! Gotta love that buttercream frosting!! Thanks for the sweet comment, Kelly!
That cupcake dress turned out great and congrats on grandbaby #4! Lots of fun things happening for your family.
Love this!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read it, Beth!!
Congratulations on grandchild #4! That cupcake dress is beautiful — well done! And I’m glad your daughter has recovered from Covid — that must have been scary.
Thanks, Natasha! Yes, Covid was scary, but she said it felt like a cold. Whew!!
Love everything about this. I wrote a long post about the shower, the beautiful cupcake dress, the fantastic food and games and gifts….. The graduation and the proud parents, the new grandbaby boy, and so glad the girlie is home and well. The future bride and groom and all of the excitement. The man that landscapes your yard and what a fabulous job he does. He is keeper for sure. Nice job. Anyway, as I said….I wrote a long note, pushed the wrong thing and it disappeared. So I am trying again….
Thanks, Momma!! Love you!
