What I’m reminiscing about…
LOVED the way my daughter’s high school planned and executed a perfect graduation- Covid 19 style! I’m reminiscing about the gorgeous sunny day and celebrating all of the graduates!
What I’m loving…
My Erin Condren Planner. I have so much to keep track of these days that it truly is my “brain.”
What we’ve been up to…
Last weekend we moved our son and his family to their new house!! Let’s be real here…I didn’t do hardly any of the heavy lifting!! Haha!! I DID get to hold and squeeze grand babies though…
What I’m dreading…
Honestly, I kind of dread moving my daughter to college. I’m fine with her GOING to college, I’m just afraid that we will be moving her back home in a few weeks because of Covid-19. Sure wishing she could have a “normal” college experience. I guess this will be “normal” for her, she knows nothing else!
What I’m working on…
I got the itch to switch our living room furniture around and it’s so fun! Feels like a new house!! My birds are in full view from the window!
What I’m excited about…
Eating goodies from our garden!! Just look at the fresh green beans & red potatoes! YUM!!!
What I’m watching/reading…
Hubby and I have started watching “ALONE” on Netflix. We are big Survivor fans, and this is an adventure and survival story, so it’s right up our alley!
What I’m listening to…
The Best of Earth, Wind & Fire on Spotify!!
What I’m wearing…
My FAVORITE summer polish color….Lobster Roll!!!
What I’m doing this weekend…
Celebrating a 90th birthday in the family!!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
I’m putting together a “Refuse to Be A Victim” class for my daughter and some of her friends before they go off to college! This Momma will feel a little better knowing that she has some information and tools up her sleeve as she enters college! BUT, this might be a good tactic!! 👇 😜
What else is new?
We’ve been LOVING the sunsets lately! The Lord sure does some great paintings in the sky!!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read this little blog of mine!! Hope you have a great rest of the week!!
Sunsets have been beautiful this summer! So glad your daughter was able to have graduation and hope her transition goes well to college. Congratulations!
Thank you, Marilyn! Hugs to you!
I have had the itch to move our furniture around but our home basically limits that. Early century southern cottage….lord have mercy!
Maybe you can change up your bedroom comforter if furniture doesn’t work to switch! Thanks for stopping by, Amanda!! xoxo
So glad your daughter was able to have a somewhat normal graduation! Love that nail color too.
Thanks, Joanne!! Graduation was sure memorable!! Do you have a favorite shade of nail color??
I tend to wear a lot of pale blue shades in the summer but I do have two bins of colors that pretty much make up the whole rainbow.
How fun!! Sounds like you have a lot of choices!!
Love it all. Beautiful graduation and glad it was such a decent day and no rain. Love seeing that sweet baby in the box and Daddy as a truck driver. The garden veggies and the pork loin look fabulous. Pretty nails, indeed. Cute kitten joke and that sunset is gorgeous! Nice job, Ms. Jillie!
Thanks for always leaving the sweetest comments!! Love YOU!!
What a beautiful sky! I also love that nail polish colour. And I’m glad you got to celebrate your daughter’s graduation. What a special time.
Natasha, I can’t even believe she’s old enough to go to college!! Thanks for the wonderful comment!!!
Hi Jill! What brand of nail polish is lobster roll? Love it!
It’s shellac polish by CND. Available in salons!
