It’s nearly the end of the month, and it’s time once again for my What’s Up Wednesday post!!
I will be linking up with Sheaffer and Shay and we will be answering these questions!!
Let’s GO!!
What we’re eating this week…
Well, my parents dropped off some veggies from their garden this week, so I plan to use them up!!
Here’s what we’re having for dinners this week!
Orange Chicken & Rice and squash casserole
Pizza & Salad
What I’m reminiscing about…
When our Grand baby stayed overnight a few weeks ago! He is so precious!!
What I’m loving…
Honey’s new haircut is so short, but I love it because she is much happier!! Just look at those pearly whites, too!
I love her eyelashes too!
What we’ve been up to…
I helped with our church’s vacation bible school. I helped check kiddoes in when they arrived and I also was in charge of providing snacks for the 50 or so volunteers. Thank the Lord for Costco!! So many fun and delicious snacks to purchase there!! Here are a few pics from the week!
What I’m dreading…
School starting in about a month- BOO!!!
What I’m working on…
Trying to figure out if I actually have Lyme disease!! I tested positive for it and then another test said I was negative! Doing lots of research on the internet!!
What I’m excited about…
Another family trip in August!!!
You can read about our Spring Break Trip as a family to Florida HERE….
What I’m watching/reading…
Just finished this book. It’s so good!!
What I’m listening to…
Listening to this podcast while I get ready in the morning
What I’m wearing…
CAPRI PANTS!! It’s been so warm here….I live in Capris!!!
What I’m doing this weekend…
We don’t have ANY plans this weekend!! I’m sure we’ll spend some time at our neighborhood pool, spend time with neighbors on the patio, and work on the yard…weeding and watering! Oh, and I’m hoping to go to a vegetable stand, too!!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
More college visits for our daughter! She’ll be one step closer to figuring out her future!! She’s visited 2 so far with 2 to go!!
What else is new?
Our college son is home from working in northern Wisconsin as a camp counselor for teens!! He will be with us for the whole month of August!! He’s really interested in cooking right now, and he even made dinner last night!! It’s so good to have him back in the nest again!!
That’s about it!! Hope you have a great rest of the week, friends!!!
Did you use that lash stuff on your dog? I’ve never seen lashes that long on a canine! Those veggies look awesome, your grandson is so cute and I really hope you don’t have Lyme! That’s crazy!
Oh, Amy…I just love her lashes!! Much better than MY lashes!! Ha!! Thanks for stopping by!!
You do such a wonderful job with this, Jill. I love all of your photos and love seeing what you are doing. Glad you are finding good use for the veggies. Love little “boy”. He is adorable and I know how much fun he must have been and especially how busy he kept you two. Good having the college boy home again and I love that he enjoys cooking and BAKING! He is amazing with those special cooking skills. Praying that you don’t have Lyme disease. Will have to make a trip to the local veggie farm, but if the prices are sky high…then what to do??? Keep up the good work. I always look forward to hearing about all of your adventures.
Thanks for your love and support, Mom!!
Great post. Sorry to read about your positive results. I hope it’s really negative. Best wishes.
Thanks for caring, Christen!
