Welcome to the OCTOBER edition of Prime Purchases. The last few months have been focused on buying stuff for my daughter to go off to college. This month was pretty quiet on the Amazon front! My bank account thanks me!!
Our son is in his last year of Nursing school and is in his clinicals, so most of the purchases were made by him or for him!
Let’s start with the ONLY thing I bought for me this month!
Hubby and I are leading a Life Group at our church on parenting emerging adults- 18 years and up. We are adding some of our own curriculum and thoughts, but this is the book that was given to us to focus on.

Our college son does a lot of walking….on campus, disc golfing, hiking. He bought these waterproof shoes for those purposes!!
Scrubs are the things to wear when you spend a lot of time at the hospital, but most have short sleeves. He decided to buy a few of these to wear under his scrub top to stay warm and offer more skin protection from things he might encounter. EWWWW
I seriously doubt that you will be interested in purchasing this book, but this is the book he ordered for one of his classes.
Hopefully next month I will have a more interesting selection of goodies from Amazon, but HEY, this is real life! That reminds me….I should probably start my Christmas shopping soon!!!
