It’s the week that makes me happy, but makes me sad….confusing, huh? As much as I enjoyed having those kiddoes home, there comes a time when even THEY are ready to go back!
Son #2 (sophomore) went back to college a few days before classes even started to help move the new freshman class into their dorms! We were thrilled that he wasn’t moving to the 10th floor as in the previous year!!
I was so proud of him! He knew where everything was going to go in the room and moved it all in and got it all put together without ANY help from bossy Momma.
We celebrated by taking him out for frozen yogurt and then dropped him back at his new “School home!”
A few days later, these two lovelies started their school year. Son #3 is a sophomore in high school and Sweet Pea is in 7th grade!
Aren’t they well trained to take school pictures?? Yes, there were “eye rolls” and maybe even a “sigh” after these photos were taken by son #3.
This baby is still trying to figure out where everybody went…she misses her kids!
This one doesn’t really care as long as she has a spot on the couch.
Bella and Minnie wanted to tell you to “have a great week, and take time to smell the flowers!!”
(Picture taken at Grandma and Grandpa’s house!!!)
Totally random, but really important! Just a little secret for those of you who grocery shop- DON’T LET YOUR HUBBY COME SHOPPING WITH YOU! This is what ends up in the cart!

Loved the “Back to School” pics. Nice close-up of Min! She is so cute! Bella does love the couch, doesn’t she. Loves ours, too. You just think those cute doggies are stopping to smell the flowers…I think mice and chipmunks live in the snapdragon bed…Shhhhh! Tell no one. And can I go grocery shopping with your husband. We never buy ice cream and cookies!
