The 4th of July weekend was a long weekend for us!!
Minnie said “Let’s Hit the Road, People!!” ROADTRIP!!
We headed north to our house in Central Wisconsin. Heading north means one thing- Relaxation!
The guys hit the golf course a couple of the days!
Book reading is always a good choice! Especially with faithful companions at your feet!
No internet connection means lots of board games, card games and only hand held electronics.
Our watch dog is always on duty, making sure nobody comes into our yard looking for their golf ball.
She’s a vicious one, isn’t she??
Temps were in the mid 80’s on Saturday, so the clubhouse pool was a great place to cool off!
In the evenings, we went to “Yappy Hour” at the local dog park. We met so many gorgeous friends there! Honestly, it’s the thing I enjoy the most when we’re up north! Minnie tried to boss everyone around, as usual. She doesn’t seem to realize that she’s just a little pip squeak!
Friday night we went out for an early dinner- Yay, no cooking for me!! The restaurant was on a beautiful lake!
All went well until this happened to Sweet Pea.
She quickly recovered, and doesn’t seem to be permanently scarred!
Here are a few more pictures from the weekend!! Enjoy!!
Have a great weekend!!
