Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve shared our trip to Waupaca, WI for our Summer vacation! Don’t forget to read PART ONE and PART TWO of our trip too!
We declared Tuesday as WATER DAY!! Temperatures finally warmed up into the 80’s and it was a perfect day to hop on the boat and have some fun in the water!
But FIRST…. there was some brother snuggling and snap chat filter entertainment in the early morning….WITH a life jacket on! 😁
We packed up a lunch and headed toward the sandbar to hang out for the afternoon….or until nap time!!
Lunch looked a little different for some. Most had a sandwich and chips. Some had a bottle…
Some had healthy coleslaw that he threw together…
The rental house came with so many fun toys! A lily pad for boating, floaties, kayaks, a canoe and paddle boards! Our boys were ALL about using the lily pad! I wish you could have seen some of the videos from it!
While babies napped, hubby tried a paddle board for the first time! He was so brave! He was up for about 7 seconds and then plopped, oh so gracefully, in the lake!
Dinner was prepared by our oldest son and his wife, and they made these SUPER FANTASTIC chicken fajitas!
After cleaning up dinner, we had a MOVIE NIGHT! The basement had a neat little area to watch movies with comfy seats. Of course the kiddoes watched the movie, too, so we watched Onward! So sad knowing that this was our last night at the house!
Wednesday
Check out was at 11 am, and we were up early, stripping beds, cleaning up the kitchen and packing up. Some families left before 11, but we had a little time to take one last spin around the cove in the boat!
Well, that wraps up our Summer vacation for this year! It was an amazing house to rent, we had amazing weather and I LOVE the people that were there SO MUCH!! Hope you enjoyed a glimpse of our time there!! If you have questions, just leave them down in the comments!!
Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed seeing some pics I haven’t sen previously. So glad that you could all get together. Wish we could have joined you. I know that you have a wonderful time. Love you all.
Love you, too, Mom!!
