Summer is about half way done for us and I’ve got some pretty fun items to share with you for my Summer Favorites 2015!

This first item is for those of you who play sports or have kids that play sports- The Gatorade Squeeze Water Sports Bottle. This is one of four bottles that we have for the athletes in my family. As you can see, it is well worn loved. 32 ounces of water fit in here beautifully. The best part of the bottle is the built in valve that prevents water from leaking out of the top, so my son just throws it in his gym bag and he’s ready for the game. We found these bottles at Dick’s Sporting Goods but our high school also provided these for their student athletes. The best part….they’re only about $5.
l’ve absolutely fallen in love with this Thirty One Large Utility Tote. Right now it acts as our pool bag and can hold a plethora of goodies. As you can see it easily holds 3 beach towels, goggles, sunscreen, nerf ball and various books and magazines with no problem at all. I have a few of these totes and I’ve hauled library books in it, brought groceries out of the store to my car, used it as a suitcase to hold all things needed for a long weekend, and the list could go on and on. It retails for $35, but it’s often a monthly special and you can get it for much less! The totes come in so many different patterns and colors. I chose this pattern because it’s not too girly and I thought the boys wouldn’t be embarrassed to carry it for me to the pool! I guess you would have to contact a Thirty One Gifts consultant to purchase one or you could look on Ebay! I’ve included the Amazon link above to the exact “Navy Wave” pattern that I have. It’s a retired pattern so it’s a bit more expensive than the $35.
Fruit salads are so popular at our house this time of the year and this Pampered Chef Can Strainer has been SO handy! For $6.00 you can place this gadget on top of your opened can of fruit and strain the juice without having to get your BIG colander out! Also, you can drain cans of chicken or tuna by flipping the strainer around and pressing down- so easy! Again, you can contact a consultant, look for one on ebay or simply click the Amazon link above to order one!
My favorite piece of jewelry this Summer has been this necklace from Kohls. I’m absolutely sure that my family and friends are really sick of seeing me wear it! It’s sterling silver and super shiny and I got it for less than $10. I was a smart shopper and bought it on sale and used my Kohl’s 30 % off coupon to boot! Right now on the website it retails for $50 and is on sale for $17.50! I love the simplicity of this necklace and it also is a sweet reminder of a friend who passed away a few years ago. She just loved the beach and starfish!!
What favorites have you found lately??
