Hello and WELCOME to my Spring Favorites for 2014! This post will be about products that I am LOVING right now!
First up….Take a look at these beauties!
Does your dog have a hard time taking medicine? Pills in particular? Well, this is your answer!!
This little dog has a hard time taking her heart worm pills.
I’m not sure whether the pill is too big, or if she doesn’t like the taste. Probably both! She absolutely loves taking her pill now when I bury it inside a pill pocket. I end up tucking the pill way down to the bottom and then pinching off the top half so it’s not too big for her to gulp down. She loves the taste! As a reward for taking the pill, I have the other half ready to give her as a treat when she’s finished chewing. Just the anticipation of seeing the other half of the pill pocket, she chews quickly and begs for the other half. (How crazy am I for using psychology on my dog!!??) Don’t answer that question!
Up next is an amazing product from The Walking Company!
Not long ago, a discovered a new shoe store at our local Mall- The Walking Company. While the shoes are adorable, amazing and CUTE, it’s this product that “Wowed” me!
The Walking Company- Beeswax Sealer
I walked into the store with these shoes on, hoping to find a new pair to replace them…yes, they are at least 5 years old and I wear them a lot to work in so they are SUPER scuffed and ruined! (I’m embarrassed to even show you!)
Before I even started looking at the shoes, an employee asked if she could borrow one of my shoes. I hesitantly agreed. She used their “beeswax sealer” on one of my shoes and I couldn’t believe the difference it made. Obviously, I purchased the product!! The product not only makes your shoes look new, it seals your shoes from rain and snow!
Here is the before and after…oh my goodness, I love this stuff!
It seems like “Norwex” parties are popping up everywhere! I know that I’ve been to 3 of them in the last month. The company’s concept is to produce products that clean using only water. I’ve been especially intrigued with their make up removal cloth.
I’ve heard fabulous testimonies about it’s cleaning and make up removal using only water. I had to give it a try! There was no way that this little cloth could take off my waterproof mascara and eyeliner and get my face perfectly clean, BUT IT DID!! I’ll admit that it was difficult at first to not use any kind of facial soap or cleanser because I was used to lathering up with a very foamy soap. After a few days, I got used to it and actually preferred it. Stains of makeup, mascara and eyeliner worried me, and I was afraid that the cloth would look “grody to the max” after one use. The consultant told me that after wiping my face clean, to just run it under water and rub the cloth against itself and the stains would release- and they did! After ringing it out well and hanging it to dry in my bathroom (See the handy dandy loop?) it’s ready to use the next time! The beauty of it all is that the cloth has antibacterial properties in the tightly woven fiber so you only have to wash the cloth every few weeks! If you have eczema or sensitive skin, this might be a wonderful product to try!
I’m telling you, my skin has never been SO SOFT! Thumbs UP!
The final product that I am in LOVE with is something that should have been in my winter favorites, but after cleaning out the winter yuckies in my car, I’m really appreciating this product.
May I present the amazing product that kept my car floors protected through this NEVER ENDING winter…
These liners are measured by a laser to perfectly fit into your make and model of car. The trays reach up and over the floor to protect the carpet too. As you can see below, the grooves catch the gunk and melting snow so it stays on the mat. I’ve had these liners for 3 years and I think they clean up and still look pretty good. To clean them, I just dumped the tray out on the grass and then used a brush and some soapy water to scrub out the mats…simple!
Here is a picture of the set for my Toyota Highlander.
These mats are expensive but you have the choice to buy them as a set, or just buy the front seat mats, etc. and they have three options for colors! Purchasing a car is an investment and this is a great way to protect your investment!
Hope you enjoyed my favorite products for Spring 2014!
