Christmas is almost here, folks, and there’s wrapping to be done!!
I’m joining Erika and Shay today in their link up and we’re sharing our Christmas gift wrapping stations!!
Up until last year, the wrapping station was on a table in our sun room. Now that my hubby can work at home some days, he uses that table as his little office desk!!
SO….. let’s go downstairs to see the NEW Wrapping station!!!
This is our little kitchenette in the basement. It’s the perfect place to store packages and wrap those little gifts!!
As I receive the gifts (thank you, Amazon Prime) I put them down stairs on the back counter. When it’s time to wrap, I just use the little space beside the sink.
When it gets really close to Christmas and I have hubby help me wrap, we tend to put the ping pong table attachment on top of the pool table and use that as a giant space to wrap!!! We also may or may not BLAST the Christmas music!! Hehehe!!
Here are my tools for wrapping: Scissors, pen, tape, wrapping paper cutting tool, tags and it helps to have the Christmas list handy too!!
Another tip is to have the house phone AND cell phone in the basement. You know that as soon as I go all the way downstairs, the phone will inevitably ring upstairs!
I store my wrapping paper and extra supplies in this wrapping paper holder from the container store. It’s pretty evident that this holds Christmas wrapping paper, right??
That’s all I’ve got for ya!! I sure hope you have more wrapping done than I do! I better get my booty moving!!
Very interesting and as usual. I wasn’t aware that you wrapped downstairs. I would have taken the easy way out and wrapped on the dining room table. This way you have no mess upstairs and everything is more or less out of sight if you get sidetracked and have to stop in the middle of wrapping. Brilliant!
What a great idea to use the ping pong table when you’ve got a lot of presents to wrap.
It’s so handy…and a back saver, too!!
