Well…..Hello, Hello, Friends! Long time no see!!! I didn’t intend to be gone this long, but I had some technical difficulties with the blog itself! A huge THANKS to my son, the Computer Guru, for getting me up and running again!
I’m joining Erika and Shay for their monthly installment of LET’S LOOK, and it’s the WEEKEND edition!!
Our mornings always begin with this little blankie parade by Honey, but featuring Minnie’s blanket!! Haha!!
Since my daughter has been finishing up her high school senior year online, her foreign and domestic cuisine class required her to bake a quick bread. Always true to her assignments, she made some Apple bread. It was SO GOOD! I sure hope her AP stats class doesn’t require any hands on application homework- YIKES!!
Sunday was MOTHER’S DAY, but we celebrated on Saturday!!! The whole crew came to our house and we grilled out! It was the first brats and burgers of the season!! We added a giant salad, sliced potatoes and onions and Mac n Cheese for the WIN!!
You can see the dinner here, being enjoyed by one of the grandkiddoes! Here are more pics of those little sweeties….3 in total!!
Here are our original FOUR….posing nicely at the request of their Momma!
Don’t you love the socks???
Here’s another GOOFY picture!!
Here is a REAL LIFE picture, trying to get a picture with the Grand babies… I just think this is PERFECT!!
My Mom and Dad didn’t make it to the Mother’s Day celebration….they were social distancing. Here are a couple of pics of my beautiful Mom!!!
Colorful Mother’s Day gifts!!! Love it!!
We had some pretty amazing desserts, too!! Chocolate cream pie and Apple pie!! YUM-O
Sunday, we watched church online, went for a walk, watched Netflix and visited the neighbors!! Honey NEEDED to take her frisbee on our walk!!
We’ve sure been enjoying the Orioles that have come to our feeder…we’ve seen some catbirds, too!! But nothing beats this interesting bird!! I just have to laugh!!!
Well, that was our weekend!!! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read the blog!!
Next time… Let’s Look: Our Carry On bag!!
Well, that was well worth the wait.Love all of your adventures. I know that you enjoyed having the gang all with you for Mother’s Day. Sure sorry to have missed it. The “babies” are all growing so quickly. Loved the food pics and the flowers and especially enjoy watching Honey with “her” blanket parade and carrying her frisbee on her walk. Nice blog and so glad you are back.
