Welcome to my very first Insta-Friday!!
I found an interesting blogger that shares the highlights of her week in a blog party called Insta-Friday. I thought I might give it a whirl by sharing a glimpse of my week. Many of these photos were taken with my phone camera, so they aren’t meant to be all perfect and themed. The photos I share will be scattered and random, just like my life. I didn’t realize on Monday that our school had an early dismissal, so my daughter called me from home while I was out tooting around town to ask where I was. Major OOOOOPS! I offered to bring home a Mc D’s fruit parfait as a peace offering, but she said she had already made lunch, thankyouverymuch. Later in the afternoon, we did enjoy some time together playing “Blokus.”
I’m so glad that I don’t have to play Hi Ho Cherry-O and Chutes and Ladders anymore!!
Later in the week, son #3 had his basketball awards banquet.
I figured it would be a 45 minute dealio. We’d have some cookies and then we would be outta there, so hubs and I brought sweet pea along. WELL, that 45 minutes turned into an HOUR and 45 minutes. She was a good sport until I started snapping pictures of her twirling her hair! Hahaha! Look, she even brought a purse along! She’s growing up! Waaaaaah
It’s been a heatwave here in Wisconsin. 18 degrees ABOVE zero!! I even went to the gym one day this week without a coat!!!
This was one of our meals this week. Chicken Stir-fry, mandarin orange jello and bread sticks. Bread sticks from a can…they gobbled them up like they were a Paula Deen recipe!! Score!
For lunch one day I had some soup. Soup is ALWAYS better with smiling goldfish crackers!!
Later in the week, a friend delivered my Norwex order. I got this Dusting Glove which is one of their microfiber products. Norwex is famous for having microfiber that is 1/200th the size of a hair, which draws up even the smallest particles of dust. I think the “glove-to-dust” concept is really cool!
I was so excited that I just jumped right in and tackled 15 sets of wooden blinds…..holy cow! These blinds haven’t been cleaned for over a year, so I’m sure my hubby is happy that we bought that dusting glove!! Now, I’ve gotta figure out how to clean the glove with all of the dust trapped in there! I’ll just Google that!!
While I dusted, my HUGE, FEROCIOUS dog kept watch over the back yard….Squirrels beware!!
Happy Friday!!!
