Hi Friends!! This week, I decided to join Shay & Erika for their monthly link, where they are sharing how they reset for the week on Sundays. I certainly get ready for the week on Sunday, so I will show you how I do it!
CHURCH- We typically attend church on Saturday nights or Sundays, and I think it’s a great way to get your mind right and prep for the upcoming week.
CALENDAR- I take a look ahead in my calendar to see if there’s anything special I need to prepare for, do or cook. Hubby and I sit and compare schedules around the kitchen table, usually on Saturday or Sunday morning. We generally eat out once a week, and we talk about what day that might be in the upcoming week, so I know how to plan food.
FOOD- I plan for 5 dinners each week, one day to eat leftovers and one to eat out. This Spring, we are facilitating a class at our church on one evening, so I plan to make an easy dinner (frozen pizza & salad) on that night, so I only have 4 meals for the week. I make sure to write the dinner down for each day in my calendar. I don’t necessarily have to stick to that day to eat the assigned dinner, but at least they’re written down somewhere if the week gets super busy and I forget.
SHOP- After the meals are planned and ingredients needed are written down, I do a quick grocery shop. While planning, I try to shop my pantry and freezer to use up what we have before purchasing anything new. Sometimes my hubby goes with me, and I give him half the list to shop for and it gets the shopping done in half the time!
WASH- Saturdays and Sundays are for washing our bed sheets and towels. More often than not, we split it up -Towels on Saturday and Sheets on Sunday.
That’s all I can think of right now!! Have a great weekend!!

Great ideas!! you are so very organized!!! Impressive, indeed!
