Call me crazy, or maybe I’m a smart cookie!! After our dog, Bella, passed away in December, we had a huge hole in our hearts. We always knew that we would get another dog, but the timing was up in the air. Well, I was scrolling through Facebook, and I had followed a few dog breeder pages in our area and this picture popped up…
Seriously…..that face!! It was love at first sight!! It was a Monday night that I saw the picture and hubby was just getting back into town after a weekend away. During dinner I showed him the picture and he immediately said “When can we get her?”
You can bet that I jumped on the opportunity and messaged the breeder right away. She called, reviewed my application and we had a wonderful 30 minute conversation. The pick up date was the next Saturday!! So, I went into immediate puppy research mode and shopping mode.
Found these cute bowls at TJ Maxx and the collar at Petco.
Here are other photos I found on the breeder’s website. This is the whole litter. Our pup has the yellow collar. BIG litter!! At least three of these dogs in the litter are going to be trained for therapy dog work….maybe Honey will be the fourth!! The Mom and Dad are both Standard sized Golden Doodles with the sweetest personalities!! These pups are expected to be between 55 and 75 pounds!
Another precious pup picture!!
Our family is on Cloud Nine right now! I even think our 9 year old yorkie, Minnie likes her, and that’s saying something!!
Here are a few pics from the last few days! I hope you can see the JOY that we feel! (I think Hubby is feeling a little emotional over just seeing and holding his pup!)
I had to the vet this week and at 7 weeks she is already 11 pounds and 8 ounces!! Although we still miss Bella, this little girl has been a bright light in our life the past week!
I even caught Minnie and Honey snuggling the other day….
If you need a puppy fix, you know where to go!!! 😉
Happy Easter, friends!!

Oh, so sweet. I know that she has one of the best homes ever and will be blessed with love and lots of attention.
