How about a great snack where you can pronounce all of the ingredients?? I’m IN!! Got this recipe from my dear friend, Sue. The recipe calls for mini chocolate chips, but I didn’t have any, so I used some Andes mint chips! Feel free to get creative with the recipe! I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I do!! Don’t forget….keep the granola bars in the fridge!! =)
Homemade Granola Bars

A quick and easy snack recipe with ingredients you have on hand.
Ingredients
- 2 cups oatmeal
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup flax
- ¼ cup chi seeds (optional)
- ⅔ cup honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Grease a 9 x 9 pan
- Press mixture into the pan
- Refrigerate
These look good and the ingredients are relatively simple. Need to get some flax for sure. I might just try these. Thanks!
