As a treat for my family on Valentines Day, I decided to make them some Funfetti bars for dessert! This recipe originates from my friend, Michele who was really into making food “fun” and festive. Here we go…. Here are the ingredients….(full recipe below)
First you open your funfetti cake mix and dump it into a mixing bowl. Next, add 2 eggs.
Mix the eggs and cake mix together…
Melt the stick of butter in the microwave and add it to the mixture…
Mix the ingredients well, until it looks like this…
Grease a jelly roll pan or a 9×13 pan with cooking spray, and dump your mixture into it, making sure it’s uniform in thickness…
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes. Remove from the oven when the batter starts to brown a little. It’s easy to burn these so watch carefully!
After removing from the oven, let cool for 30 minutes or so, and then you can frost them. Delicious!!

What’s great about this recipe is that Funfetti makes cake mixes with different themes….Fall, Valentines, Christmas and even just a generic primary colored cake mix. You can make these any time of the year!!
