Welcome to Friday…or Thursday night, depending on when you’re reading this!! I’m linking up with Andrea , Erika, Narci , April, Katie and Organized31 to share what I’ve been loving this month!!
<ONE>
When we lost our sweet Bella last month (sorry I haven’t written about it- still too fresh!) our need for giant dog bowls suddenly went away. While strolling through TJ Maxx, I found these cute little food and water bowls for our little Minnie Moo! They are just her size and I absolutely LOVE the inscriptions! Too funny!!
I guess there’s no question which one she likes the best!!!
You can find similar Rae Dunn pet bowls HERE.

Because our college son has been home, I have had to increase the amount of food being put on the table!! I’m IN LOVE with these Cutco Knives. I bought them from a friend who was selling them because I’ve never owned a quality knife and I was tired of almost cutting my fingers when cooking because of a dull blade!! Let me tell you….these are life changing! Do you wanna know the best part?? You can PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER!!! Another thing I love is the handle design- they fit in your hand perfectly!! Here are the ones I have…p.s. I use the paring knife the most!! =)
From L to R: Spatula Spreader, 7 5/8″ Petite Chef Knife, Trimmer, and 2 3/4″ paring knife

It’s the new year and I needed a new “brain.” Yes, I call my planner my brain because it keeps track of things for me so I don’t have to remember birthdays, appointments, grocery list items, weather temps for the week, etc! This work horse is a little pricey, but to be organized and on time is totally worth the price to me!! Did I mention that you can personalize the cover? I found this super cute and simple design and ordered it!!

Here’s a peek inside… you can add stickers or just write things down- your choice!
Here’s an example of one week when I was feeling very ambitious with the decorating!!
<FOUR>
Over Christmas I hosted our family Christmas Dinner. Now we didn’t have a HUGE group compared to some, but we have some mighty mashed potato eaters in the group! We peeled 10 pounds of potatoes….yes, I said “WE.” If you’re anywhere near the kitchen, you are kindly invited to help peel the potatoes =) In my many years of experience in peeling things, this is the best peeler that I’ve found! This peeler was a Target at few years ago and it is given a “special” place in the drawer for utensils that are used most often.
Actually, here’s a picture of my BEST potato peeler…..my college son! We’ve had fun having him home for his Winter break! He’s been such a huge help to me running errands and taking care of things in between visiting friends, working out and sleeping in! (Remember those days?) It’s so fun to hear about his life at college and what he’s been up to!! While cleaning the storage area of our basement we found an old shirt from middle school- of course he HAD to try it on and pose…

Fine, I’ll admit it….I’m crazy for Jelly Belly Jelly Beans right now!! My parents always supply me with my “stash” at Christmas (from Costco). I always look forward to that gift!! Just look at all of those flavors…so many to choose!! My favorite is the Juicy Pear, but I’m also slightly obsessed with the Popcorn flavor! p.s. I will give you the licorice flavored ones if you want!! NOT my fave!
Well, that’s it for this month!! Have a fun weekend!!!

Loved it all. Miss Bella so much. She was so beautiful and such a wonderful girl. Minnie is so smart. We all know how she loves her food and I think she can actually read the word “dine on her food bowl….Yeah, right! Love your potato peeler and your new knives. I am sure that you do also. The college boy looks quite dashing in his middle school t-shirt. So slim and trim. Hey, I can wear the same ear-rings I wore forty years ago. Not to brag or anything…So glad that you enjoy your Jelly Bellys. I love buying them. So many choices, too. Thanks for sharing your favorites. It is always fun sharing your photos and thoughts. Something to look forward to.
Glad that you’re enjoying them, Momma- thanks for taking the time to comment!!
You got Rae Dunn bowls! Those are pretty popular and hard to find lately!
VERY hard to find!! I lucked out! Have a great weekend, Danielle!!
Im sorry for your loss. My mom makes a stuffing with potatoes for the holidays and anyone who even walks by the kitchen ends up peeling potatoes!
Thank you, Monica- sounds like you know how hard it is to lose a furbaby!! Yes, get EVERYONE peeling those potatoes- many hands make little work!!
I love Rae Dunn and I wish I had a little dog for those cute bowls! I bought 2 larger ones to use for my own food…lol! And I want xl ones for serving dishes!
Those bowls sure are popular!! I always get trendy way too late! Good Luck finding more dishes and thanks for stopping by!!
So sorry to hear about Bella. I have two furbabies of my own. They are both 11 years old. Originally we had four furbabies, so I know how heartbreaking it is to lose one. Love your site. Lurk weekly.
Oh, thank you, Beverly….you totally understand the loss! Give your furbabies an extra treat from me! =) Thanks for taking the time to check my site!!
My planner is pretty much my brain too so I definitely feel you on that one! Oh my goodness, I have a happy planner and went through a phase where i loved planning with stickers and everything and I have been such a slacker half of last year =/ Your lovely planner makes me miss it and want to get back into it- there’s just not enough time for it all!
Ha! I totally get it! I haven’t decorated ANY pages yet this year! It goes in spurts, I guess! Doesn’t it just feel better to write things down and get it out of your head??!! Thanks for stopping by!!!
And your little Minnie is so very adorable and so sorry to hear about your sweet Bella. 🙁
Thank you, Shannon. She was just the most awesome dog!! Minnie is enjoying being the QUEEN!!!

I clicked over to read about Bella. I’m so sorry for your loss. My dogs ARE my kids and it’s so hard when they leave us. She must’ve been so special and all the therapy work you did with her, incredible. You should be so proud. *hugs*
Your Minnie is quite adorable too. I’m such a sucker for dogs. 😉
I hope you’re having a good week hun.
Aw, thank you!!! Dogs are just the best!!! I will sure check out your blog!! Much Love, Jill
