Happy Wednesday to YOU!! I ordered some freezer meal recipe cards from Menu Planning Made Easy and this was one of the recipes that I tried! I just made the recipe and then baked it, so I can’t vouch for “freezing” part of the recipe, but it got a thumbs-up from my hubby!
Find the printable recipe BELOW.
Ingredients:
5 cups, diced, cooked chicken
24 oz. spaghetti sauce ( I used Classico Vodka Spaghetti Sauce)
2 cups, shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Topping
2 cups panko bread crumbs
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 Tablespoons garlic powder (I used about 2 T)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Place chicken in the bottom of the pan. Pour spaghetti sauce on top, and mix to combine making sure chicken is covered with the sauce, and spread evenly across the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of chicken, then top with parmesan cheese.
In a small bowl, add the first three breadcrumb topping ingredients, and stir gently with a fork. Add olive oil, and toss with a fork until bread crumbs are evenly coated.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, or until bubbly and bread crumbs are toasted.
