Crispy Cheddar Chicken

A delicious, creamy chicken dish that is perfect for cold weather!!
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 sleeves, Ritz crackers, crushed to make crumbs
- ¼ t. salt
- ⅛ t. pepper
- ½ cup milk
- 3 cups, cheddar cheese, grated or shredded fine
- 1 t. parsley (optional)
- Sauce: ** You might want to double the recipe for more sauce!**
- 1 cream of chicken soup
- 2 T. sour cream
- 2 T butter
Instructions
- Cut each chicken breast into 3 chunks.
- Dip chicken in milk, cheese and cracker crumbs and lay on a sprayed cookie sheet (I use parchment paper)
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
- Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes
- When chicken is close to being done, add sauce ingredients to a saucepan and heat until warm and stir until contents are smooth and creamy. (You can microwave the ingredients instead, too!)
