For years I kept all of my batteries in an old baby wipe box. While it looked good on the outside because I could close the top and put it on the shelf, the batteries were all jumbled up, and the box was filled with different sized batteries. Our boys were constantly looking for replacement batteries for their gaming controllers and they would often put the old batteries back into the box. Obviously, this system didn’t work for us, but I didn’t have the time to research other alternatives.
Now that all of my kiddoes are in school, I had the time to tweak our battery storage system. I found this great product on Amazon.com. I love that you can see exactly which batteries you have and which ones you need to buy! It also has a built in battery tester! The best part is that it fits beautifully in a drawer…all for less than $15!!
Mah-velous idea! Good job, Jill!
Thanks, Mom!!
Ohhhh, batteries . . . A constant source of frustration! Especially when something needs three or four of them and you never know which are good and which aren’t, as everyone throws them in the drawer here too since you wouldn’t want to risk throwing one out if it’s still good! The best thing we did was buy a battery tester so now it’s so easy to know before you use them if they’re good or not. But this is a cool deal with the tester right in the organizer!
Fran, It will make things SO MUCH EASIER!! Thanks for leaving a comment!!!!
Totally getting this for Becky as an early birthday present…with a glass of wine, of course. You know, to romanticize it up a bit. 🙂 Thanks for the tip!
Yes Brent, start with the wine first, then flowers and THEN the organizer!!!
