Sausage, Corn, Pea and Rice Skillet

Hello, friends!  Let me just share a little advice…..make this recipe!!  I didn’t know if my family would like it, (they don’t mind being guinea pigs)  but you know I only share tried and true recipes here!!  It’s a bland recipe, so you can keep it there or jack it up by using a little hot sauce!!  Simple ingredients, one skillet- it doesn’t get any better than that!!

This is a simple one skillet recipe that uses common ingredients that you probably have on hand!
  • 3 cups rice, uncooked (6 cups total, cooked)
  • 1 ring, turkey kielbasa, sausage, etc. (cooked)
  • 1 can of peas (drained)
  • 1 can of corn (drained)
  • Oil
  • ½ stick of butter
  1. Cook rice, set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown kielbasa in oil for about 3 minutes
  3. Mix in peas and corn. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Add rice and butter, then mix thoroughly.
