Week in Review- June 27th, 2014

Hellooooo!   I’m back for another “Week in Review” post!  I tell ya, I’m really having a hard time believing that it’s almost the 4th of July!  This summer is a cool one and it’s flying by!

With our busy summer schedules it’s often hard to find time to visit our cottage up north.  Luckily, we own it with another family so we don’t have total guilt about not getting up there every weekend!  Last weekend we made the time to go up and enjoy our place!

Our typical long weekend Up North  consists of swimming, golfing, walks by the lake, grilling, reading, playing board games and of course, eating dinner on the deck!  Thankfully the mosquitoes, bees and gnats left us alone and we could enjoy our time there!

When we swim at the pool, we usually have a little refreshing snack (ice cream) to hold us over until we have dinner.  Sweet Pea’s favorite is cookies and cream and MY favorite is blue moon!  Sweet Pea ordered one scoop and just look at all of that ice cream!  The price was right too, $1!

Shhhhh…don’t tell anyone, but I actually caught Hubby watching Finding Nemo….I guess he’s just a big kid at heart!

Our relaxing weekend away quickly turned into reality when hubby parked his car in the wrong place at work.   I told him “Birds sing to some people!” What a mess!

Once again, reality–   I worked like crazy to get it all put away before we were back in the car to pick up kids again!

and Lastly, I saw the cutest puppy at Sweet Peas ballgame this week!  This is LOLA. She’s almost 7 weeks old! I LOVE HER!

I wanted to hold her and squeeze her and take her home with me!  But, I already have 2 dogs and a chinchilla- that’s enough for me!!  Hope you had a fabulous week!
